From Honda to Hyundai; Best Affordable Midsize Cars!

Honda Dealership Houston is now carrying the new, 2011 Honda Accord.  It was ranked number 7 out of 19 Affordable Midsize Cars.  It comes with three engines.  Two are four-cylinder models or a there is a sportier V6.  The four-cylinder model can be paired with a five speed manual transmission or a five speed automatic.  The V6 is also available with a six speed manual.  The four-cylinder models are estimated to get 23/34 mpg. city/highway and the six-cylinder is estimated to get 19/30 mpg.

The Accord, from Honda Dealer Irvine, has a pretty nice protection package.  It consists of three years or 36,000 mile basic warranty and five years or 60,000 miles powertrain warranty.  Honda also offers corrosion protection for the first five years.  The Accord didn’t do that bad on crash tests either.  The federal government gave the Accord five stars in frontal driver and passenger impact, side driver impact and rollover tests.  However, the Accord only received three stars in side rear passenger impact.  The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety did give the Accord it’s highest ranking of “Good” for front, side and rear crash tests.

Another “Affordable Midsize Car” to check out would be the new, 2011 Hyundai Sonata, which can be purchased at Tuscaloosa Hyundai Dealer.  It was2011 Hyundai Sonata Black 300x168 From Honda to Hyundai; Best Affordable Midsize Cars! ranked number 1 out of 19.  It comes equipped with only a four-cylinder engine that creates 198 horsepower.  That’s more than any four-cylinder in it’s class.

Hyundai has given the Sonata a pretty nice protection package.  It consists of five years or 60,000 mile basic warranty and a ten year or 100,000 mile powertrain warranty.  Roadside assistance is included throughout the warranty period.  The Sonata also did very well on crash tests.  The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave them five stars for protection both driver and front passenger in frontal-impact crashes and five stars for protection both front adn rear seat passengers in side impact crashes.  They also received four stars for the ability to prevent rollovers.

The Sonata has also been equipped with a long list of safety features.  Some of them include; six airbags that come with every trim.  Driver and passenger front airbags, torso-protecting  side impact airbags for the front seats and full-length head protecting side curtain airbags for both rows of seating.  The Sonata also comes standard with four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and stability and traction control.
