The latest recall news comes from General Motors with their Cadillac SRX crossover.  You can still find the 2010 models for sale at Detroit Chevrolet Dealerships, and it is only the models that were manufactured in December of 2009 that are affected.  Nonetheless, GM isn’t risking their customer’s safety and is issuing a voluntary recall of affected vehicles.  Letters will be sent out to owners regarding if they are affected or not.  The vehicles sold at Philadelphia Dodge Dealerships are not impacted by this current recall.

GM became aware of the problem after BMW and Hyundai all issued recalls, and some of those vehicles were damaged and had to seek repairs at Collision Center Reading.  It is always shocking to consumers when luxury vehicles are recalled.  You would expect that after how much money you spend on your luxury vehicle that there should not be anything wrong with it, ever.  The issues with the Cadillac right now is only going to affect a handful of vehicles, but the company is doing their due diligence and taking responsibility; there is no reason for an accident to happen when they are aware of the problem.
